The Menzies Institute for Medical Research is investigating why some people get blood reated diseases and others do not.
We invite you to participate in this ground-breaking Marrow map study, where we are collecting blood samples from people in our community.
Finding what turns on or off a gene in specific blood cells will enable the development of new therapies for a range of conditions, such as anaemia (i.e. bone marrow failure) autoimmune disease, and blood cancers.
Participation is voluntary and involves giving a small, one-off blood sample – the same as you might have with your regular Doctor. It will take around 10 minutes.
